FAMILY
Renee grew up in St. Leon, Indiana, a small town in southeastern Indiana near Cincinnati. She has been married to her husband, Bob, for 28 years, and together they raised three sons. Their family values, hard work, accountability, and service continue to guide Renee’s leadership.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
After moving to Genoa Township in 2011, Renee became actively involved in local government, regularly attending township meetings and engaging on growth and zoning issues. In 2018, when township trustees approved a development over strong resident opposition, Renee co-chaired a citizen-led referendum to place the rezoning on the ballot. Voters overturned the decision with 76% approval.
Motivated by the need for accountable leadership, Renee ran for Genoa Township Trustee in 2019, winning with 72% of the vote in a two-way race. She was re-elected in 2023, earning 63% of the vote in a three-way race, demonstrating continued trust from voters.
As a trustee, Renee has been a strong advocate for smart growth, fiscal responsibility, and preserving local control while maintaining Genoa Township’s AAA bond rating.

Renee currently serves as President of the Delaware County Township after having served as Vice-President since 2021. She has also served on the Association’s Legislative Committee, advocating for policies that protect townships and taxpayers.
